BLAUSET HOUSE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES TO COVID 19

  1. Online/contactless payment for booking is highly encouraged. 

  2. Additional amenities are encouraged to be requested prior to check-in and paid online or upon arrival via credit/debit card so staff won't have to go to and fro to your room.

  3. Please inform us your arrival time via email, text message, or call to minimize queuing in the front desk area. 

  4. Wear a face mask before entering the property. No mask, no entry. 

  5. Kindly pass through the Main Entrance only.

  6. Complete a Health Declaration Form upon check in. 

  7. Disclose your nationality, personal contact number, email address and the countries visited in the last 14 days prior to checking-in in the record book. 

  8. Body temperature checking will be undertaken by a trained property staff. Only guests cleared during screening shall be allowed to enter the property's perimeter to check -in.

  9. Blauset House may refuse accommodations to any guest that we reasonably believe might cause danger to other resort guests and staff. Those with a high temperature and flu-like symptoms will be directed to the isolation area to wait for a doctor on duty of the nearest hospital, or to the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) in accordance with the Department of Health (DOH) prescribed protocol.

  10. Disinfect footwear with the sanitizing foot bath mats provided at the entrances. 

  11. Disinfect hands with alcohol-based sanitizer or 70% alcohol solution at entrances and guest rooms, upon entering, and leaving the rooms and property. Wash hands with soap and water frequently, for at least 20 seconds each time. 

  12. Freshly sanitized keys are placed in your room before check-in

  13. Staff may not show guests around the room for orientation after check-in. Escorting guests to the room may be allowed when necessary following strict observance of physical distancing and in compliance with the health and safety protocols set by DOH.

  14. A separate trash bag or bin intended for used PPE such as face mask, gloves and other sanitation waste materials will be provided. Observe proper disposal of used PPE, throwing them only in designated trash bins.

  15. Mingling with occupants of neighboring rooms is discouraged. Strict observance of Physical Distancing, at least 6 feet wherever possible.

  16. Following the respiratory etiquette. Sneeze or cough into a one-off paper tissue or elbow bend

  17. No sharing of food or any personal or non-personal belongings.

  18. Proper use of kitchen is to be observed, cleaning your used area and equipment before you go. Designated utensils and seats will be provided. 

  19. Only single up to double room occupancy is allowed in each room during community quarantines. We will not accept extra persons. A distance of 1 to 2 meters between the beds will be observed.

  20. Room transfers may be allowed when strictly necessary only.

  21. There will be no housekeeping service during your entire stay. For concerns, please reach out through mobile or email.

  22. Housekeeping staff may not enter the room for make-up if they hear signs of coughing. If they suspect that a person is ill, they must leave immediately and report to housekeeping management. The housekeeping manager is to make a call to the guest and offer to arrange medical support.

  23. The swimming pool may be allowed to operate but with strict observance of DOH prescribed Minimum Public Health Standards. Please schedule use of pool with a staff.

  24. If there is a suspected case of Coronavirus disease among guests at Blauset House, this person must self-isolate and get tested in a local medical facility.

  25. We will immediately refer guests or employees with fever (> 38 C) and/or cough, and have a history of travel to identified high risk countries or localities within the Philippines, to the nearest hospital.

  26. We assure guests of online coordination assistance in case they begin to manifest symptoms such as fever and/or cough.

  27. Blauset House will keep the symptomatic guest confined in the room originally used until trained transport providers are available to transport him or her to designated referral hospital.

  28. We will coordinate with the referral hospital for necessary transportation of symptomatic guest/s.

  29. Blauset House will ensure confidentiality in reporting of individuals both resort staff and guests within the resort with flu-like symptoms and/or fever and travel history to affected areas.

  30. All staff and guests who show symptoms consistent with the disease and had travel history to high-risk areas or had close contact with a caregiver of suspected or with a confirmed case, must immediately notify the management.
